A realtor for more than 15 years, Todd Bartusek supports Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Ambassador Real Estate as an agent in Omaha, Nebraska. When not in the office, Todd Bartusek contributes to several charities, including the Sunshine Kids Foundation.

Established in 1982 by Rhoda Tomasco, who was volunteering at a Houston hospital’s pediatric cancer unit, the Sunshine Kids Foundation seeks to help young people with cancer participate in group activities, thus giving them opportunities to build self-esteem and have fun. Since the foundation’s inception, thousands of children staying in hospitals across the United States have benefited from the organization’s events.

Among the events hosted by the Sunshine Kids Foundation is the annual Winter Games. The 2016 games, held February 28-March 5 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, included a bowling tournament, snowmobiling, and several days of ski lessons and tubing. In the evenings, children and families availed themselves of games and movies as well as time in the hot tub. All activities, transportation, food, and lodging were provided free of charge, thanks to the foundation.
